Djamal gathered his unique colorful watercolors into a charming book depicting cherished historical buildings and locations of Iran's cities. An interactive book that gives the reader a fascinating glimpse into the historical cities of Iran. This delightful book was created to bring an image of beautiful Iran to the readers.
His selection of subject matter was inspired by landscape shapes distinctive to each city in Iran. He was intrigued by the people and landscape that exist in each city. He established in his paintings a sense of movement by emphasizing various speeds of forms.

























































Children' book illustrations
Djamal Khorraminejad was an award-winning children's book illustrator. He devoted his life to creating books that stimulated children's imaginations while helping them deal with sensitive issues. His work had been published in Farsi. He illustrated his first children's book for the Institute for the Intellectual Development of Children and Young Adults in 1977 and had since illustrated nearly twenty others, including one of the most well-known stories, Reihaneh.
His love for kids is evident in his playful and imaginative illustrations. His family was often the subject of his illustrations.
